Who we are
Grove Boats SA carries on a Swiss expertise born in 1991 with MW-Line. This heritage gave rise to the solar shuttles of Expo.02, the Sun21 (first solar-powered Atlantic crossing, 2007) and the ZEN (Switzerland's first hydrogen-powered boat, developed with HEIG-VD).
Since 2010, Grove Boats SA has continued this mission — first in Yvonand, then in Grandson from 2021. Over 40 vessels are now operating across Europe, from Marseille to French Guiana, from Paris to Luxembourg.
In 2025, one of our Aquabus completed the first solar-powered circumnavigation of Lake Titicaca, at 3,800 m altitude. It now continues scientific missions there.
Certifications: Bureau Veritas, ONI, or as required by the project.
